Walk in and be captivated by the black and gold interiors and the scent of the newly renovated Palladian hotel by Kimpton Hotels. The 97-room property officially opened its doors last month in February on the corner of 2nd and Virginia in the Belltown neighborhood of Seattle. The transformation of the historic 1910 building brings a scene of masculinity, elegance, vintage design and luxe all in one.
To celebrate the opening, Palladian rolled out a red carpet to go with the theme of celebrities that is found throughout the hotel from pillows, art work and wallpaper. Yes, that's right! You'll find yourself snuggling with David Bowie, Tom Selleck, Dave Grohl, Leonardo DiCaprio and others, but don't let that alarm you, they are just pillows.
The historical building has kept its beautiful exposed brick, steel beams, reclaimed wood and brass finishes throughout the property. Along with the 97 rooms, two rooms are dedicated as collaboration spaces with aesthetically-minded accouterments. The space was specially designed for today's artists, entrepreneurs, and tech pioneers, our Meetings & Events spaces offer the creative comforts that collaboration requires.
The menu focuses on aged spirits, seasonal sharable punches, and quaint small plates prepared front-and-center by knowledgeable barkeeps. Dark woods, exposed brick and vintage glassware will play a starring role in the 35-seat establishment, joined by an approachable, yet refined menu featuring fresh Penn Cove Pickled Mussels brined with the light heat of seasonal chilies.
