If I Won - Letting My Imagination Run Wild with Washington’s Lottery

I wanted to share an interesting project I’m working on with Washington’s Lottery, and invite you to join the fun. As you may know, every week Washingtonians have a shot at winning a ginormous jackpot and making their dreams a reality. Whether your dream is to buy a new home, fund a new business idea, or donate to a good cause — it’s fun to let our imaginations run free when we think about that “big win.”

Washington’s Lottery offers seven different draw games, plus Scratch to choose from, and Powerball and Mega Millions dole out the really big jackpots. For example, Friday's Mega Millions jackpot is $136 million.

The folks at Washington’s Lottery invited me to think about what I’d do #IfIWon this Mega Millions jackpot. I’m a bit of a voyeur when it comes to fabulous real estate, so I tried to put it in context of amazing, “go big” homes. To give you some perspective, the most expensive home in Washington just went on the market for $32.58 million. Win the Mega Millions jackpot and you can buy that home, with plenty of money left over for that dream yacht to dock out front and a voyage to all seven continents.

If I won the jackpot, I would buy my parents a home they have always wanted, then buy myself a dream home overlooking beautiful Lake Washington, and use a portion of it to try every Michelin star restaurant around the world.
